BYU-I Student Passes Away Unexpectedly in Apartment, Investigation Started

Christine Wright, a 20-year-old student at Brigham Young University-Idaho was found dead in her apartment late Tuesday night.

According to Rexburg Police Captain Randy Lewis, Wright had no known medical issues and no foul play is suspected. They also do not suspect it was suicide. A roommate found Wright unresponsive on her bathroom floor and administered CPR. Wright was pronounced dead at the Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho. An investigation has been launched into the cause of her death.

Wright was originally from Woodinville, Washington, and, according to her Facebook page, was studying epidemiology and public health at BYU-I.
