13 New Temples Announced in General Conference

In the last session of the October 2021 General Conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced 13 new temples to be built around the world. They are:

  • Kaohsiung, Taiwan
  • Tacloban, Philippines
  • Monrovia, Liberia
  • Kananga, Democratic Republic of the Congo
  • Antananarivo, Madagascar
  • Culiacán, México
  • Vitoria, Brazil
  • La Paz, Bolivia
  • Santiago West Chile
  • Fort Worth, Texas
  • Cody, Wyoming
  • Rexburg North Idaho
  • Heber Valley Utah
  • Provo Utah Temple reconstruction after the Orem Utah Temple is completed
