In his heartfelt message shared during the final session of October 2024 General Conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced the construction of 17 new temples.
As we continue to see this remarkable growth, these sacred houses of the Lord will bless even more individuals and families worldwide in the coming years, offering increased opportunities to draw closer to God, make covenants, and feel the peace and power that comes from temple worship.

His answer, simple yet profound, reflects the divine direction the Church has received:
“Because the Lord has instructed us to do so. The blessings of the temple help to gather Israel on both sides of the veil. These blessings also help to prepare a people who will help prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord!”
President Nelson, who has announced an astounding 185 temples since 2018, is continuing to move forward with urgency, ensuring that these sacred blessings are more accessible to all.
