On Septermber 14, 2024, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released a new episode of its Friend to Friend series, a collection of engaging broadcasts designed to teach and inspire Primary children. This episode featured special guest Elder Jeffrey R. Holland and was titled “Sharing the Love of Jesus with Others.”
Puppet friends Louie the Toucan and Gilbert learn that shared hugs, smiles and friendly waves help us feel loved during the September 2024 Friend to Friend broadcast.Child hosts Millie Ferreira and Victor Batista enlisted the help of puppets, music, scriptures, stories, and videos to teach about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ’s love for us, and how children can share that love with those around them.
Later in the episode, President Holland shared his testimony, expressing gratitude for “Primary to teach us more about Jesus Christ and His gospel. I’m grateful that we get to learn and practice how to pray, how to serve and how to share the love of Jesus Christ with others.”
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, joins a group of children for the September 2024 Friend to Friend broadcast.The Church encourages members to use Friend to Friend episodes in the home or in Primary to help teach children gospel principles and grow their faith in Jesus Christ. “Sharing the Love of Jesus with Others” is available in the Gospel Library app and on the Gospel for Kids YouTube channel.
