Church Leaders Approve Creation of Central Eurasian Mission

Deseret News is reporting the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles have approved a new mission, the Central Eurasian Mission, to be officially created on July 1, 2015.

The mission will take areas from both the Russia Novosibirsk and Bulgaria Sofia missions and will consist of five branches. The Central Eurasian Mission will serve Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
