Church Releases Heartbreaking Music Video of “Be Still, My Soul” Highlighting Addiction

Mormon Channel has released a powerful new music video to the beloved hymn “Be Still, My Soul.”

The video features the story of a woman experiencing addiction and the hope that comes when we rely on God to change.

“When life seems to fall apart and hope seems to disappear, let your soul be still and remember that God never leaves you,” the video’s official description states. “Like this mother facing a life of addiction and the loss of her children, you can find comfort in the words of the song Be Still, My Soul, no matter your situation.”

You can watch the entire video below. The song is performed by Jill Chipman.
