Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, who returned to his place in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles after faithfully serving as a counselor to Thomas S. Monson in the First Presidency, responded on social media to comments and concerns about the change.
“I appreciate your concern for my welfare, but I assure you, I’m just fine,” Elder Uchtdorf wrote. “I love and support the First Presidency, and I am thrilled to again more closely associate with the other members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.”
He also referenced his General Conference talk, “Lift Where You Stand” and discussed the importance of seeing every calling as an important opportunity to bless God’s children and build the kingdom.
