UPDATE: Elder Perry was released at approximately 8:30 PM MDT last night from the hospital and is resting at home.

Elder L. Tom Perry, 92, a member of the LDS Church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, has been hospitalized after experiencing trouble breathing.
“Elder L. Tom Perry is in the hospital for tests and observation following some breathing difficulties,” church spokesman Eric Hawkins said.
Elder Perry has been an apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 41 years, making him the second-most senior member of the Quorum of the Twelve.
