The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the upcoming 192nd Semiannual General Conference on Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2.

“General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as living prophets and other general Church leaders give counsel and direction. We encourage members to listen to, study, and apply the counsel given,” the First Presidency wrote in a letter dated September 2.

The conference will consist of five general sessions for all individuals, families, and friends. The three Saturday sessions begin at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 6 p.m. Sessions on Sunday morning and afternoon are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other General Authorities and General Officers will share messages of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Can I Attend in Person?

Because of the extensive construction on and around Temple Square, in-person attendance at general conference sessions will be limited. Tickets are required and will be distributed by ward and stake leaders in the area prior to conference weekend. Local leaders around the world will make decisions about gathering to watch General Conference in meetinghouses.

Who Is Invited to the Saturday Evening Session?

October 2022 general conference will include a Saturday evening session for all individuals, families, and friends.

“Our Saturday sessions have a history of different purposes and different audiences,” President Oaks explained during April 2022 general conference. “For now, this Saturday evening meeting is a session of general conference, not a session of any organization,” he said. “Like all sessions of general conference, the planning, speakers, and music are designated by the First Presidency.”

How Can I Watch or Listen Live?

All conference sessions will be streamed live on the live broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org. You can also watch and listen on the General Conference YouTube channel; Gospel Library app; and other radio, television, satellite, and digital channels.

How Can I Watch or Listen Later?

Following the broadcast, the messages will be available in text, audio, and video formats on multiple channels for on-demand viewing and studying. These channels include Gospel LibraryGospel Media, the General Conference YouTube channel, the General Conference podcast, and the Church magazines.
