All senior leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints now have Instagram accounts to help them “share the light of Jesus Christ and personal experiences that have taught them more about the principles of the gospel.”
By joining the social media platform, which now has over 1 billion users worldwide, the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, including prophet and president Russell M. Nelson, hope to connect with members, especially those of the younger generation.
Several Church leaders have used their social media platforms in the past, most notably on Facebook, but this is the first time all members have had Instagram accounts specifically. The process by which content is posted on these accounts has not been released.
Click on any of the links below to visit and follow each individual Instagram account. Sister leaders of the Church also have individual pages on Facebook and can be found by searching their names.
