First Presidency to Give Live Video Statement Alongside NAACP

On Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 9:15 a.m. MDT, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will join with leaders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to share a live video message on social media.

You can sign up through your personal Facebook account to be reminded when the group goes live on Mormon Newsroom’s official Facebook page.

While no details regarding the message have been released at this time, it is likely the First Presidency and NAACP will discuss the Church’s upcoming celebration of the 40th anniversary of the revelation on the priesthood. Follow LDS Daily for updated information as this story develops.
