Mark your calendars: the Grand Junction Colorado Temple will open its doors to the public for an open house from Thursday, September 11, through Saturday, September 27, 2025 (excluding Sundays). The sacred dedication will follow shortly after, with President Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles presiding on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Grand Junction Colorado Temple | Church NewsroomThis temple, first announced by President Russell M. Nelson during the April 2021 General Conference, will become the third temple in Colorado, alongside the Colorado Springs and Fort Collins temples.
Construction began in earnest with the groundbreaking ceremony on April 16, 2022, and today the temple covers 29,630 square feet on nearly 8 acres. It is a beautiful new house of the Lord where individuals and families can come closer to Him and feel His peace in a deeply personal way.

Billions of dollars and millions of tons of food…..that’s what this church sends to the
afflicted and poor of the earth. Then there is Fast Sunday, when members give the
equivalent of two meals to the fast offerings, which again, goes to those in need. Your
lack of understanding of the magnificence of God and His blessings is astounding.
If you knew even 1/100th of the work in The Houses of The Lord, you’d not write such
things.
This is not true. You let you congregate that are poor go without food on the consistent so that they can pay their 10% to a “church” that has BILLIONS of dollars. Mormons are not Christian! Jesus is not your brothere, He is 1 part of the Triune God. God the Father and Jesus are the same along with the Holy Spirit. You follow a charlatan. I am so glad I escaped a church that would guarantee that I would go to hell at the time of the final judgment.
