Reservations are now open for the Orem Utah Temple open house.

The Orem Utah Temple was announced by President Russell M. Nelson in General Conference on October 5, 2019.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on September 5, 2020. Construction steadily moved forward through the COVID-19 pandemic.

On June 20, 2023, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released both open house and dedication dates. The open house will take place from October 27, 2023, and will run until December 16, 2023. Excluded dates included Sundays and Thanksgiving Day.

The temple will be dedicated on January 21, 2024, in two sessions. A three-story building, the Orem Utah Temple includes four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and a baptistry. The dedication of the temple also marks the closure of the Provo Utah Temple. Once opened, the temple will help alleviate demand when the Provo Utah Temple closes for major renovations on February 23, 2024.

There are currently 28 temples in Utah operating or under construction.

The public open house is free to the public and will include a short video presentation and a walking tour that takes about 40 minutes. Admittance to the temple grounds will be by shuttle bus only, except for valid state-issued disabled plates or placards. Guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before your reserved tour time.

Reserve your tickets for the open house here.
