“As long as I was lying, I was on my own.”

Mormon Channel premiers its raw new series about addiction today, beginning with David’s story about sex addiction recovery. Each video in the series is designed to highlight one of the twelve steps in the addiction recovery program. The first step is honesty, which says:

Admit that you, of yourself, are powerless to overcome your addictions and that your life has become unmanageable.

David discusses how finally becoming honest with himself, his Church leaders, and his wife eventually helped save his marriage. Watch the video above.
