This Day in Church History
1877: Romania Pratt (Penrose) graduates from the Women’s Medical College in New York. She is one of the first LDS women to earn a medical degree.
1961: The Central German Mission is organized.
1970: The Tokyo Stake, the first stake in Asia, is organized.
1989: The first LDS branch in Kenya is organized in Nairobi.
