Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
God’s care is constant—because all things are His, He provides for His children not only temporal blessings but also peace and protection in life’s storms. His provision invites us to prepare with faith, trusting that His guidance leads to safety and shelter, just as a shepherd watches over the flock.
Scripture
“And it is my purpose to provide for my saints, for all things are mine.”—Doctrine & Covenants 104:15
Quote
“The Savior can provide protection and peace to guide you ultimately to safety and shelter from life’s storms.”—Quentin L. Cook, “Personal Peace in Challenging Times”

Living the Principle: “All Things Are Mine”
- Begin each day with a prayer that acknowledges “all things are [the Lord’s]” (Doctrine & Covenants 104:15), then list one resource or blessing in your life you can dedicate to His service that day.
- When a challenge arises, pause and deliberately ask, “What preparation or lesson might the Lord be providing me here?”—then act on the first prompting you feel.
- Choose one way this week to shepherd someone in your care (a child, friend, or neighbor) by offering protection, encouragement, or guidance, just as the Lord does for you.
