Always Remember Him | 15 March 2024

Here’s your daily dose of what matters most! Each week we covenant to “always remember Him” as we partake of the Sacrament. How do you remember the Savior in your daily life?

Check back tomorrow for more inspiration.

O God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee in the name of thy Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this bread to the souls of all those who partake of it, that they may eat in remembrance of the body of thy Son, and witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that they are willing to take upon them the name of thy Son, and always remember him and keep his commandments which he has given them; that they may always have his Spirit to be with them. Amen.—Doctrine & Covenants 20:77

When I “remember Him,” I feel a desire to change, to repent. I find the source of energy to keep my covenants, and I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life “and keep his commandments which he has given [me]; that [I] may always have his Spirit.” It helps me to endure to the end. Or at least to the end of the day! And in those days that I fail to remember Him all day, He is still there, loving me and telling me, “It’s OK; you can try again tomorrow.”

Although we are imperfect at remembering Him, our loving Heavenly Father never fails to remember us.—Joaquin E. Costa
