Living the Principle: Are You Committed to the Lord?
- Choose one spiritual practice that has become routine or optional and recommit to it with intention, deciding in advance how it will shape priorities rather than fitting it into leftover space. Treat that practice as a covenant expression, not a task to be checked off.
- Engage with scripture in a way that requires effort and reflection, such as writing down impressions, tracing repeated themes, or connecting teachings to real decisions that need guidance. Let the word of Christ inform actions, not just understanding.
- Examine areas where discipleship has been compartmentalized, then make one concrete adjustment that aligns personal goals with the Savior’s teachings, even if it introduces discomfort or sacrifice. Endurance grows when commitment moves from occasional alignment to deliberate, lived consistency.
