Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
The Savior’s return will come suddenly, but the spiritually prepared will greet it with peace instead of panic. Through consistent, daily devotion, we fill our lamps drop by drop until they shine with steady faith no storm can extinguish.
Scripture
“For the day of my visitation cometh speedily, in an hour when ye think not of.”—Doctrine and Covenants 124:10
Quote
“To maintain some semblance of stability in our lives, it is essential that we plan for our future. I believe it is time, and perhaps with some urgency, to review the counsel we have received in dealing with our personal and family preparedness. We want to be found with oil in our lamps sufficient to endure to the end.”—L. Tom Perry, “If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear”

Living the Principle: Are You Spiritually Prepared?
- Identify one area of your life that feels uncertain or unstable, and create a simple plan of faith-driven action—something you can do to demonstrate trust in God’s timing rather than fear the unknown.
- Begin building a personal “spiritual reserve” by choosing a gospel habit that stretches your discipleship, such as studying a specific Christlike attribute until it becomes a reflex in moments of trial.
- When you feel spiritually complacent, invite the Lord to show you what needs replenishing—then act immediately on the promptings you receive, no matter how small or inconvenient they may seem.
