1844: Because of serious threats made by the enemies of the Church, Joseph Smith orders the Nauvoo Legion to protect Nauvoo and addresses the men, giving his last public discourse.
1960: Presiding Bishop Joseph L. Wirthlin dedicates the Aaronic Priesthood Restoration Monument on the banks of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania.
1995: The Bangkok Thailand Stake, the first stake in Thailand, is organized.
