Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
In seasons of waiting or discouragement, the Lord’s promise of presence remains steady, offering comfort that does not depend on timing or worthiness. As we continue forward in faith, Christ will never leave us, coming to steady our hearts and restore hope even when it feels fragile.
Scripture
“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”—John 14:18
Quote
“Sometimes during our own challenges, we might feel like Christ is too late, and our hope and faith might even feel challenged. My witness and testimony are that as we move forward with faith in Jesus Christ, the fourth day will always come. He will always come to our aid or to raise our hopes back to life.”—W. Mark Bassett, “After the Fourth Day”

Living the Principle: Christ will Never Leave Us Comfortless
- Choose one unresolved burden that has been quietly carried and bring it intentionally to the Lord through prayer, trusting that His nearness is not delayed by uncertainty or imperfect faith. Allow the act of turning toward Him to be an expression of belief that He comes to steady hearts, even before circumstances change.
- When feelings of unworthiness or discouragement surface, respond by acting in alignment with Christ’s teachings rather than waiting to feel deserving of His love. Small, deliberate acts of obedience or service can become tangible reminders that divine love is present and active, regardless of emotional distance.
- Practice remaining spiritually engaged during periods of silence or waiting by continuing habits that invite the Savior’s influence, such as scripture study or reverent reflection. This choice affirms confidence that Christ will Never Leave Us, and that hope can be restored even when answers arrive gradually.
