This Day in Church History
1958: President David O. Mckay dedicates the Church College of Hawaii campus (later known as BYU-Hawaii), in Laie, Hawaii.
2010: The Provo Tabernacle is greatly damaged by a fire, believed to have started unintentionally on the second floor. The tabernacle will later become the Provo City Center Temple.
