1850: The first Latter-day Saint branch in France is organized in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
1995: The Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission is organized.
1996: A group of Church members purchases Southern Virginia College and announces that it will establish a four-year program with standards similar to LDS Church Schools.
