1836: Lorenzo Snow is baptized in the Chargrin River near Kirtland, Ohio (He is 22 years old).
1880: The first general Primary Presidency as well as the first general Young Women’s Presidency are called.
1959: The First Presidency issues a formal statement urging Latter-day Saints to keep the Sabbath holy and specifically to abstain from shopping on Sunday.
