Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me; ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. —Doctrine and Covenants 88:63
I believe that if we could have the privilege of walking physically with the Savior, that we would feel His arm draped over our shoulder just like that. Like the disciples heading toward Emmaus, our hearts would “burn within us”. This is His message: “Come and see”. It is personal, inviting, and embracing in its invitation to walk with His arm around our shoulders. —Terence M. Vinson
