Finding Truth in the Book of Mormon | 27 January 2020

Scripture

And I will be your light in the wilderness; and I will prepare the way before you, if it so be that ye shall keep my commandments; wherefore, inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall be led towards the promised land; and ye shall know that it is by me that ye are led. —1 Nephi 17:13

Quote

The word of God given us in scripture is, indeed, an iron rod which leads us on the path of eternal life. There the truth is spelled out; it can be held on to; it has been tried in the experience of generations. But not all truth brings a long tradition of acceptance with it. It requires us to know it when we see it. The Spirit must witness these things to us, make us recognize them as true–as of God. Aileen H. Clyde
