Living the Principle: How to Help the Poor and Distressed
- Set aside a weekly “blessing budget”: Designate a small portion of your time or money each week specifically to help someone in need—whether it’s donating to a local food bank or buying groceries for a struggling neighbor.
- Build a service kit for your car: Keep a small bag in your vehicle with snacks, water, hygiene items, and a note of encouragement to give to someone experiencing homelessness.
- Volunteer with intention: Choose one cause you feel drawn to—such as tutoring underserved youth or visiting a shelter.
