Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!

God’s purposes for those who love Him reach beyond what we can currently perceive, unfolding in ways that exceed our expectations and understanding. Trusting that unseen preparation invites patience and faith, especially when growth comes gradually and through challenges rather than all at once.

Scripture

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”1 Corinthians 2:9

Quote

“I testify that the life Heavenly Father has in store for each of us is more glorious than anything we can imagine or arrange for ourselves, but it won’t come without challenges, and it won’t come about all at once. His way is always to prepare us line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little. And that always happens on His timetable.”—Robert D. Hales, “Our Essential Spiritual Agency”

Living the Principle: Is God Preparing Something Incredible for You?

  • Practice releasing control by deliberately surrendering one long-held expectation or outcome to God, choosing trust over certainty and openness over self-direction. This creates space to recognize that His preparation often looks different—and higher—than personal plans.
  • Respond to challenges as part of divine preparation by identifying what a difficult season is shaping in your character, such as patience, humility, or reliance on grace. Treat resistance and delay not as signs of abandonment but as evidence of purposeful refinement.
  • Anchor your decisions in your identity as a child of God by making choices that reflect confidence in promised blessings rather than fear of missing out. Living from that identity builds steadiness and hope, even when the fuller picture remains unseen.
