1832: Joseph B. Brackenbury, a missionary, is poisoned by anti-Mormons, becoming the first martyr of the dispensation.
1880: In Copenhagen, Denmark, Andrew Jenson publishes Ungdommens Raadgiver, the first LDS periodical for young people in Scandinavia.
2016: The Church announces three new missions: the Democratic Republic of the Congo Mbuji-Mayi Mission, the Nigeria Owerri Mission, and the Vietnam Hanoi Mission.
