1883: The first permanent branch of the Church among the Maori people in the New Zealand is organized at Papawai.
1923: President Heber J Grant dedicates the Cardston Alberta Temple after years of delay caused by World War I and economic setback in western Canada.
1962: The Glasgow Stake, the first stake in Scotland, is organized, with Archibald R. Richardosn as president.
