1830: At the Joseph Smith Sr. home near Waterloo, New York, Sidney Rigdon and Edward Partridge meet Joseph Smith for the first time.
1833: Joseph Smith writes a letter to the Saints in Missouri, who had recently been driven from their lands in Jackson County, expressing his love and concern for them and offering his encouragement.
1952: LDS missionaries enter Honduras for the first time.
1967: The Texas South Mission is organized.
