1955 Ground is broken for the Aukland New Zealand Temple
1984 The BYU football team wins the Holiday Bowl over the University of Michigan, 24-17, capping an undefeated season (13-0). The team later receives the number one raking and the NCAA national championship.
1995 The First Presidency announces plans to build the Monterrey Mexico Temple.
