1833 Joseph Smith completes his translation of the New Testament.
1968 Six missionaries arrive in Thailand, having been transferred from the Taiwan and Hong Kong zones of the Southern Far East Mission. They are the first LDS missionaries in Thailand since 1854.
1986 Brazil becomes the third country outside the United States to have 50 stakes.
