1828 Joseph Smith completes the translation of the Book of Lehi and allows Martin Harris to take the 116 page manuscript of the translation to show his family in Palmyra.
1985 President Gordon B. Hinckley of the First Presidency rededicates the remodeled Manti Temple.
1999 The First Presidency announces plans to build a temple in Winter Quarters.
