1872:Abraham O. Woodruff, later a member of the quorum of the Twelve Apostles and the first General Authority to have obtained a PH.D., is born in fillmore, Utah.
1914: Rex C. Reeve Sr., later a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy, is born in Hinckley, Utah
1918: Heber J. Grant becomes the seventh president of the church, with anthon H. Lund and Charles W. Penrose as Counselors.
1958: The Cincinnati Stake, the first stake in Ohio since the Kirtland Era, is organized, with Thomas Blair Evans as president.
