1933: U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt meets with Presidents Heber J. Grant, Anthony W. Ivins, and J. Reuben Clark.
1948: Mission president Frederick S. Williams baptizes Avelino Juan Rodriguez and his wife, Maria Esther, the first converts in Uruguay.
