1921 While touring the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii, Elder David O. McKay is impressed by the Spirit to move those with him away from the ledge overlooking the volcano just before the ledge collapses into the volcano.
1973 The Southampton England Stake, the six hundredth stake of the Church, is organized, with Reginald V. Littlecot as president.
