1831: During the third conference of the Church, held at Fayette, New York, the Prophet receives Doctrine and Covenants 38, which reiterates the instruction for Church members to move to Ohio and promises them that they will receive the law and will “be endowed with power from on high.”
1942: The Northern California Mission is organized.
