1940: President David O. McKay of the First Presidency dedicates the site for the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple.
1991: Elder Marvin J. Ashton dedicates Guatemala for the preaching of the gospel.
1999: BYU and the Foundation for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies (FARMS) sign an affiliation agreement, officially joining the organizations together.
