1833: Joseph Smith receives Doctrine and Covenants 91, which informs him “that it is not needful that the Apocrypha should be translated.”
1982: President Marion G. Romney of the First Presidency dedicates the Spencer W. Kimball Tower, the tallest building on the Brigham Young University campus.
1997: The Church creates the Puerto Varas Chile Stake, making Chile the fourth nation in the world to have one hundred or more stakes.
