Someway, somehow, we must find the healing influence that brings solace to the soul. Where is this balm? Where is the compensating relief so desperately needed to help us survive in the world’s pressures? The onsetting comfort in large measure can come through increased communion with the Spirit of God. This Day in LDS History
1839: In company with a small group of Saints, Emma Smith leaves Far West, Missouri to join the main body of Saints gathering in Quincy, Illinois.
1846: Brigham Young, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, finishes administering temple blessings in the Nauvoo Temple as the Saints prepare to move west. Over 5,600 Saints were endowed in the temple before the exodus.
1901: Lorenzo Snow dedicates LDS Business College in Salt Lake City.
