Spiritually mature obedience is “the Savior’s obedience.” It is motivated by true love for Heavenly Father and His Son. When we willingly obey, as our Savior did, we cherish the words of our Heavenly Father: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”—Robert D. Hales

1843: While visiting the Saints in Ramus, Illinois, Joseph Smith gives instruction on such topics such as the nature of the Godhead, intelligence, and obedience, found today in D&C 130.
1982: Church announces changes in the financing of Church meetinghouses. Construction costs are to be paid by general Church funds, whereas utility costs are to be borne by local units.
1990: The Church releases FamilySearch, a new software package, in an effort to simplify the task of family history research.
