Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
Choosing to stand in holy places invites God’s peace and guidance into our lives, even amidst life’s chaos and uncertainty. These sacred spaces help us feel His presence more clearly, reminding us of His love and desire to lead us forward.
Scripture
“My disciples shall stand in holy places, and shall not be moved.”—Doctrine and Covenants 45:32
Quote
“[H]oly places can also include moments in time—moments when the Holy Ghost testifies to us, moments when we feel Heavenly Father’s love, or moments when we receive an answer to our prayers. Even more, I believe any time you have the courage to stand for what is right, especially in situations where no one else is willing to do so, you are creating a holy place.”—Ann M. Dibb

Living the Principle: Stand in Holy Places
- Visit the temple grounds regularly, even if you can’t enter, to feel the peace of a dedicated space and reflect on the covenants and teachings associated with the temple.
- Dedicate a room or corner in your home as a place for prayer and scripture study, free from distractions, creating a sacred space where you can seek spiritual guidance and find refuge.
- Volunteer at a local Church service or other charitable project to surround yourself with others who strive to keep their lives centered on Christ, fostering a sense of unity and purpose in serving together.
