1832: After spending the night having tar and feathers removed from his skin, Joseph Smith preaches on the Sabbath to a congregation that includes members of the mob that had attacked him the night before. Joseph baptizes 3 people later in the day.
1982: The Mormon Tabernacle Choir leaves for a concert tour of Europe.
1995: President Gordon B. Hinckley speaks at the annual Young Women meeting in his first address from the Salt Lake Tabernacle pulpit after becoming President of the Church.
