- Set aside a specific portion of income and decide in advance where it will go, choosing a cause, family, or effort that builds God’s kingdom rather than expanding personal comfort. Treat that decision as a fixed commitment, not something left over after other wants are met.
- Open your home or table to someone who could use strength or companionship, even if it disrupts convenience or routine. Let the cost in time, energy, or resources become a deliberate offering rather than an inconvenience.
- Choose one possession you value and give it to someone who needs it more, allowing the act to stretch the heart beyond accumulation. Replace the instinct to store up with a visible act of generosity that redirects treasure from shelves into someone’s life.
