1941: President Heber J. Grant presents a copy of the Book of Mormon in braille to Helen Keller, a well-known advocate for the deaf and the blind.
1961: The Holland Stake, the first stake in the Netherlands and the first non-English-speaking stake in the Church, is organized at The Hague.
1995: Gordon B. Hinckley is ordained and set apart as the fifteenth President of the Church.
