1832: Joseph Smith writes to W.W. Phelps in Jackson County, Missouri, giving him information about the duties of the clerk in Zion. Part of the letter is later canonized as Doctrine and Covenants 85.
1850: President Heber C. Kimball dedicates the Warm Springs bathhouse (located just north of Salt Lake City), a favorite resort for the Saints in early Utah.
1919: President Heber J. Grand Dedicates the Laie Hawai Temple on Thanksgiving Day (U.S.)
1982: Elder Marvin J. Ashton breaks ground for the Johannesburg South Africa Temple.
