Here’s your daily dose of what matters most!
Covenant-making people don’t just talk about following God—we actually choose it in the small, ordinary moments of our lives. When you remember the promises you’ve made, it changes how you respond, what you prioritize, and how you keep showing up even when it’s hard.
Scripture
“For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.”—Deuteronomy 7:6
Quote
“The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in this day is a covenant-making people.”—Joseph Anderson, “We Are a Covenant-Making People”

Living the Principle: We Are a Covenant-Making People
- Review the covenants you have made and connect one promise to a specific situation you face right now, then act on it in a real decision or interaction. Let that promise guide what you say or do when it would be easier to respond another way.
- Choose one habit that reflects loyalty to God, such as keeping your words clean, honoring the Sabbath, or treating someone with patience, and carry it out with full intent instead of halfway effort. Let that action reflect who you have promised to become, not just what feels convenient.
- Look for a moment where your natural reaction would be self-focused, then deliberately choose a response that aligns with your covenants, such as offering help, showing restraint, or speaking with kindness. Let that shift become a visible sign that your life belongs to God.
