- Set aside time each week to study the words of the current prophet: Treat General Conference talks like scripture—read, highlight, and record impressions in a dedicated journal.
- Create a scripture habit trigger: Link scripture study to an existing routine, like reading a verse after brushing your teeth or listening to a chapter during your commute.
- Pray for confirmation of prophetic counsel: When you hear or read the words of Church leaders, ask in prayer if their message reflects the voice of the Lord for you right now.
