Being born again means experiencing both a spiritual transformation and a covenant renewal through Jesus Christ. As we exercise faith, repent, and are baptized by water and the Spirit, we enter a new life as disciples, with changed hearts and a deeper commitment to follow Him.

- Renew Your Commitments Daily: Each morning, recommit to following Christ by praying for strength to keep His commandments and serve others with love.
- Seek the Power of the Holy Ghost: After partaking of the sacrament, take time to reflect on how the Spirit is guiding you and act on promptings that draw you closer to Christ.
- Deepen Your Covenant Relationship in the Temple: Set a regular schedule for temple worship, and as you participate in sacred ordinances, seek personal revelation on how to become more like the Savior.

1851: The provisional state of Deseret authorizes and requests President Brigham Young, as governor of the territory, to procure a block of marble to be used in building the Washington Monument, which is under construction at the nation’s capital.
1955: President David O. McKay dedicates grounds for the Church College of Hawaii before hundreds of Latter-day Saints gathered in an open field on the north shore of the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
